Pulse Healthcare seeks a Consultant in Child & Adolescent Psychiatry to join the Wembley team on a locum, short-term contract basis. The role involves completing comprehensive psychiatric assessments for children and adolescents, leading a multidisciplinary team, and overseeing therapeutic interventions including medications and crisis management.

The successful candidate will regularly monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and contribute to risk assessment and safety

Qualifications

• Must hold a full GMC license to practice.
• Section 12 & AC approval required.
• Proven experience in child and adolescent psychiatry or related field.

Responsabilités

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments of children and adolescents.
• Lead a multidisciplinary team to deliver person-centred care.
• Oversee therapeutic interventions, including medication management and crisis interventions.
• Regularly monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to optimise care.
• Contribute to risk assessments and risk management strategies.
