Job summary

Pulse Healthcare is seeking a Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry for an NHS client in Melksham, Wiltshire. This locum role is full-time and available immediately for a short-term contract.

You will provide expert assessments and diagnoses for children and adolescents with complex mental health issues, lead treatment planning, and supervise multidisciplinary teams within the CMHT framework.

Qualifications

• Full GMC licence to practice.
• Specialist Register (CCT) or equivalent.
• Section 12 eligibility or status.
• Approved clinician status.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert clinical assessments and diagnoses for children and adolescents with complex mental health issues.
• Lead development of comprehensive treatment plans and therapeutic interventions.
• Manage and support multidisciplinary teams, ensuring collaboration among psychologists, social workers, and nurses.
