Working for the Council's Home Care Service, you will provide direct personal care to older people in their own homes.
It is desirable to have experience of care work, and preference will be given to candidates possessing an SVQ2 qualification in Social Care. The ability to respond to situations in a calm and flexible way is essential. Proven experience caring for people with complex needs and working without direct supervision in situations requiring self-reliance is desirable. Access to a vehicle for work purposes is also preferred.
