Job description

Locum Cardiac Physiologist (Echo), Richmond

We are seeking a qualified Cardiac Physiologist to join our team in Richmond. The ideal candidate must demonstrate flexibility across various areas of cardiology diagnostics and possess extensive experience in managing cardiology patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a range of diagnostic investigations including ECG, Holter and patch monitoring, Exercise tolerance testing, Transthoracic and Stress Echocardiography.
• Provide inpatient investigation services.
• Delegate tasks and mentor junior colleagues.
• Possess responsibility for specific sections of the cardiology service.

Qualifications and Experience:

• BSc in Clinical Physiology or equivalent (international qualifications accepted).
• Good knowledge of transthoracic echocardiography (Desirable).
• Full BSE/EACVI accreditation (Essential).
• Hands-on experience with transthoracic echocardiography.
• Experience in delegating tasks and mentoring.
• Competence in diagnostic skills expected of a Band 6 cardiac physiologist or higher (Desirable).

Additional Requirements:

• EU work permit is required.
