Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a Locum Consultant Plastic Surgeon with a focus on adult and paediatric burns and reconstructive plastic surgery. The role is offered on a 12-month fixed-term basis, based at Nottingham City Hospital and Queen's Medical Centre, with flexible specialist-interest capacity.

You will join the established burns team, contribute to acute burns care and reconstruction, and provide multidisciplinary care, with on-call duties and cross-cover as

Qualifications

• Fellowship-level experience in adult and/or paediatric burns surgery and burns reconstruction.
• Full GMC registration and eligibility for specialist register.
• CCT or Portfolio Pathway registration expected within 6 months of interview date.
• FRCS (Plast) or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Join the established burns team and contribute to acute burns care, burns reconstruction, outpatient and multidisciplinary care, and the emergency Plastic Surgery service across Nottingham City Hospital and QMC.
• Participate in on-call rota and reciprocal consultant cross-cover.
• Support CPD, annual appraisal, revalidation and consultant mentorship.
