Job summary

Seven Group Holdings Limited is seeking a Registered Building Inspector for a full-time locum role in Northallerton. The position offers three months of varied experience, working under the Building Control Service within North Yorkshire Council.

An hourly rate will be confirmed, with opportunities to gain exposure across projects and locations in this scenic part of the UK. You will conduct site inspections, assess plans for Building Regulations compliance, and engage in enforcement actions

Qualifications

Experience with Building Regulations and the Building Act 1984.
Ability to conduct site inspections and assess building plans.
Experience initiating enforcement actions to ensure compliance.

Responsibilities

Process Building Regulation applications to ensure compliance.
Conduct site inspections and assess plans for conformity with Building Regulations.
Assist in initiating enforcement actions when necessary.
Develop skills and maintain accurate reports on construction and regulatory compliance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure smooth coordination of projects.
Provide front-line customer service handling inquiries on building safety and compliance.
