Temporary Staffing Agency (TSA) is recruiting an experienced Band 7 Sonographer to join an NHS Hospital in Swindon on a locum basis.

You will undertake a specialist ultrasound caseload, performing and reporting examinations while maintaining high standards of patient care and clinical practice.

The role focuses on abdominal and gynaecology ultrasound, including transvaginal scanning (TVS), in a busy imaging department with multidisciplinary team support; immediate start.

Qualifications

• Relevant ultrasound qualification and professional registration where applicable.
• Band 7 Sonographer level or equivalent experience.
• NHS experience is essential.
• Competent in independently performing and reporting ultrasound examinations.
• Significant experience in abdominal ultrasound.
• Significant experience in gynaecology ultrasound, including TVS.
• Experience managing a varied diagnostic ultrasound caseload.
• Strong knowledge of ultrasound imaging protocols and patient care standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and prioritise workload.
• Experience working within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
• Must have the right to work in the UK for the full duration of the assignment.
