Job summary

Sanctuary Personnel is seeking a Highly Specialised Cardiac Physiologist – Echocardiography for Enfield, London. This 0.5 WTE (approximately 2.5 days per week) locum role spans two months with a pay rate of up to £34.71 per hour in a BSE-accredited department at North Middlesex University Hospital.

You will perform echo studies, assist in stress and transoesophageal echo procedures, support inpatient services, and mentor trainees while contributing to educational activities and advanced echo

Responsibilities

• Perform independent transthoracic echocardiograms
• Assist with stress echocardiography procedures
• Support and assist in transoesophageal echocardiography procedures
• Provide services to inpatient wards, including portable echocardiography
• Deliver urgent echocardiography support in acute and intensive care
• Collaborate with cardiologists and medical teams to discuss echo findings
• Mentor and support trainee Echocardiographers in their BSE accreditation journey
• Deliver educational presentations and training in echocardiography
• Contribute to advanced echo services, including contrast and bubble studies
• Work towards developing physiologist-led valve clinics
• Maintain accurate clinical records and reports
