Job summary

Your World Healthcare UK is seeking an experienced Band 6 Acute Paediatric Dysphagia Speech and Language Therapist to join a busy Belfast team. The role offers hourly pay between £23.00 and £26.00 and a market-leading benefits package.

The successful candidate will have post-graduate experience in paediatric dysphagia, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with patients and the healthcare team.

Qualifications

• HCPC-approved degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• Right to Work in the UK
• Valid HCPC registration
• Neonatal Paediatric dysphagia competencies completed
• Newly Qualified Practitioner competencies completed
• Postgraduate experience working with paediatric dysphagia patients

Responsibilities

• Join an experienced team in Belfast to support acute paediatric dysphagia cases.
• Provide expert assessment and management of paediatric dysphagia in acutely admitted children.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary colleagues to plan and deliver feeding and swallowing care.

Description

You will join an experienced and highly motivated team in Belfast. Pay rate ranging between £23.00 - £26.00 P/H per hour depending on experience.

The SLT we seek will have previously worked as a post-graduate therapist with paediatrics.

They will be encouraging, supportive, and understanding of the varied patient needs they may encounter.

The right candidate must also have exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with patients.

Requirements

• An HCPC-approved degree in Speech and Language Therapy
• Right to Work in the UK
• Valid HCPC registration
• Neonatal Paediatric dysphagia competencies completed
• NQP (Newly Qualified Practitioner) competencies completed
• Postgraduate experience working with paediatric dysphagia patients
