Locum Band 6 Biomedical Scientist

About Client:

Cwm Taf Morgannwg University Health Board is located in South Wales and provides healthcare services to a diverse population across several localities, including Merthyr Tydfil and Rhondda Cynon Taf. Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform Microtomy (target of approximately 30 blocks per hour).
  • Conduct Embedding and possibly Quality Control tasks.
  • Report directly to laboratory Team Leaders.
  • Work collaboratively within the Cellular Pathology team.

Working Hours:

  • Days: Monday to Friday
  • Shift Hours: 08:30 AM to 5:00 PM (with potential earlier starts for specific tasks).
  • Breaks: Includes a paid 30-minute break and an unpaid 1-hour lunch break.
