Locum Ready is looking for a Nurse Practitioner to work with a GP practice in Leek. You will deliver autonomous NP-led clinics, provide efficient triage support and help maintain continuity of care for patients.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with clinical experience in primary/urgent care.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable.
• Experience with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision in a clinical setting.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and urgent care NP clinics.
• Telephone triage and patient streaming.
• Assessing, diagnosing and managing undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Reviewing investigations and actioning follow-up tasks.
• Ensuring accurate documentation within the clinical system.
• Supporting GPs and Practice Nurses with core clinical duties.
