Locum Ready is seeking a Nurse Practitioner to work at a GP practice in Paignton. The role is suited to an NP confident in managing minor illness presentations, supporting urgent on-the-day demand and helping run daily clinical activity.

You will deliver autonomous NP-led clinics, conduct triage and ensure continuity of care within a friendly, multidisciplinary team, with clearly defined clinic structures to make sessions effective and manageable.

Competenze

• Registered Nurse Practitioner with relevant experience.
• Independent Prescribing qualification desirable.
• Background in primary care, urgent care or community nursing.
• Confident autonomous clinician with strong clinical judgement.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision.
• Enhanced DBS.

Mansioni

• Running minor illness and urgent care NP clinics.
• Telephone triage and patient streaming.
• Assessing, diagnosing and managing undifferentiated presentations.
• Prescribing independently where qualified.
• Reviewing investigations and actioning follow-up tasks.
• Ensuring accurate documentation within the clinical system.
