Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner for a GP practice in Stone. The role offers flexible sessional work within a well-organised primary care setting with support from a multidisciplinary team.

You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care and contribute to high-quality outcomes in a collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate) required.
• V300 Independent Prescribing competence.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or walk-in settings.
• Ability to work autonomously and safely; Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics.
• Completing long-term condition reviews where required.
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making.
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews.
• Ordering and interpreting investigations.
• Clear, accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborating with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.

You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes. The practice offers a structured workflow, clear expectations and a supportive clinical setup to make each session efficient and manageable.

Key Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics

Requirements
