Locum Ready seeks a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Gosport. The role offers flexible, sessional work with a well-organised primary care environment and full support from a multidisciplinary team.

You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes in a structured, supportive setup.

Qualifications

• Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate).
• V300 Independent Prescribing.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or walk-in settings.
• Ability to work autonomously and safely.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Run minor illness and acute assessment clinics.
• Complete long-term condition reviews.
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making.
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews.
• Order and interpret investigations.
• Maintain clear, accurate clinical documentation.
• Collaborate with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs.

Locum Ready is looking for a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner (ANP) to work for a GP practice in Gosport. This role is ideal for an autonomous clinician seeking flexible sessional work within a well-organised primary care environment, with full support from an established multidisciplinary team.

You will independently assess, diagnose and manage a range of presentations, deliver evidence-based care, and contribute to high-quality clinical outcomes. The practice offers a structured workflow, clear expectations and a supportive clinical setup to make each session efficient and manageable.

Key Responsibilities

• Running minor illness and acute assessment clinics
• Completing long-term condition reviews where required
• Telephone triage and clinical decision-making
• Independent prescribing and medication reviews
• Ordering and interpreting investigations
• Clear, accurate clinical documentation
• Working collaboratively with GPs, Practice Nurses and HCAs

Requirements
