Qualifications

• Full GMC registration required.
• FRCA or equivalent qualification required.

Responsibilities

• General anaesthesia for major general, urology and gynae-oncology surgery.
• Complex major surgery, at least one day a week.
• Anaesthesia for trauma and orthopaedic surgery.
• Day case anaesthesia.
• Pre-operative assessment sessions.
• Obstetric anaesthesia, with an interest in this area.
• Agree job plan with the Clinical Director on behalf of the Medical Director.
• Work across sites within University Hospitals of Northamptonshire where service needs require.
