Job summary

Locums First is seeking Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioners to deliver autonomous ANP-led clinics across primary care. The role offers fully flexible local sessions, matching your preferred shift patterns and clinical strengths.

You’ll support GP practices by managing urgent care and routine reviews, triage-based sessions, and safe prescribing within scope, with clear service lead support and flexible booking arrangements to suit availability.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification is required.
• V300 Independent Prescribing is required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care, walk-in or community services is desirable.
• Ability to work autonomously in new environments with adaptability across different clinical systems.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required.

Locums First is looking for Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioners in Gretna. This role offers flexible local sessions across a range of primary care services, giving you the option to choose work that matches your clinical strengths and preferred shift patterns.

You will support multiple primary care providers by delivering safe, autonomous ANP-led clinics. These may include urgent access appointments, routine reviews, minor illness assessments and triage-based sessions. Each booking is arranged to suit your availability, with clear expectations and consistent clinical support from service leads.
