Job summary

Locums First is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to support autonomous ANP-led clinics in The Ward. This role offers fully flexible local sessions across primary care services, allowing you to choose shifts that match your clinical strengths and preferred patterns.

You will provide ANP-led urgent access appointments, routine reviews, minor illness assessments and triage-based sessions with clear expectations and strong clinical support from service leads.

Qualifications

• Level 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification is required.
• V300 Independent Prescribing is required.
• Experience in GP, urgent care, walk-in or community services is required.
• Confident working autonomously in new environments is expected.
• Adaptability across different clinical systems is essential.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required.

You will support multiple primary care providers by delivering safe, autonomous ANP-led clinics. These may include urgent access appointments, routine reviews, minor illness assessments and triage-based sessions. Each booking is arranged to suit your availability, with clear expectations and consistent clinical support from service leads.
