Job summary

Locums First is seeking a Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioner to deliver autonomous ANP-led clinics at Greenmoss Place, with flexible local sessions across primary care services.

You will support multiple providers in urgent access, routine reviews, triage, and safe prescribing, with booking tailored to your availability and supported by service leads.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification.
• V300 Independent Prescribing essential.
• Experience in GP, urgent care, walk-in or community services desirable.
• DBS Check (Enhanced) required.

Responsibilities

Job description

Locums First is looking for Locum Advanced Nurse Practitioners in Greenmoss Place. This role offers flexible local sessions across a range of primary care services, giving you the option to choose work that matches your clinical strengths and preferred shift patterns.

You will support multiple primary care providers by delivering safe, autonomous ANP-led clinics. These may include urgent access appointments, routine reviews, minor illness assessments and triage-based sessions. Each booking is arranged to suit your availability, with clear expectations and consistent clinical support from service leads.

Key Responsibilities

• Running independent ANP clinics across various primary care settings
• Managing acute and minor illness presentations
• Telephone and face-to-face triage
• Prescribing safely within scope of competence
• Handling clinical actions such as results and follow-up
• Documenting accurately within each service’s clinical system

Requirements

• Level 7 Advanced Nurse Practitioner qualification
• V300 Independent Prescribing
• Experience in GP, urgent care, walk-in or community services
• Confident working autonomously in new environments
• Adaptability across different clinical systems
• Enhanced DBS
