Locum Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner – Bolton OOHs

GP World have a fantastic new nursing opportunity as an Advanced Nurse/Clinical Practitioner across Bolton within an Out of Hours service and Urgent Treatment Centre. This service offers a great continuity of work able to offer block bookings for anyone who is interested in covering consistent evening cover.

Shift Patterns: 1530 - 2100, 1900 - 2200/2300, 0800 - 2000, 1400 - 2000 & 0800 - 1400

Days: Offer up to 7 days a week - Mainly afternoon and evening shifts available - See above shift times

Rates: £50 - £65 per hour depending on experience

Start date: As soon as possible

Requirements:

  • Full registration with the NMC or equivalent
  • Nursing Diploma or equivalent
  • Masters (MSc) in nursing or equivalent (Advanced Practice qualification must be completed)
  • Independent Prescriber (V300)
  • Must cover minor illness cases

Role Purpose and Skills:

Need to be able to see, assess, and treat patients of all ages (adults, children including newborns) presenting with illness. Be able to work autonomously in delivering independent assessment, clinical examination, diagnosis, clinical decision making, planning of care and treatment, diagnosis, prescribing, health promotion, and safe discharge of patients.
