Locum Ready is recruiting an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to provide autonomous clinical assessment and urgent care support across community and primary care settings in Olney. You will join established clinical teams, delivering ACP-led sessions, managing acute presentations and contributing to timely patient pathways in flexible, sessional work.

The role requires Level 7 ACP qualification and a clinical background in nursing, paramedic science or related fields, with Independent Prescribing

Qualifications

• ACP Level 7 qualification is required.
• Clinical background in Nursing, Paramedic Science or related field.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable.
• Experience in GP, urgent care or community health services.
• DBS check (Enhanced)
• Ability to work independently in varied clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ACP-led sessions in community and primary care settings.
• Manage acute undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Support urgent patient demand through triage by telephone or in person.
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence.
• Manage clinical actions including results, reviews and follow-ups.
• Record accurate digital documentation.
