Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner for flexible sessional work in Great Missenden, covering primary care and regional care centre services. You will lead ACP clinics, assess acutely presenting patients, provide triage, and have opportunities to prescribe where qualified.

Applicants should hold Level 7 ACP credentials with background in nursing or related fields and be able to work in dynamic daytime, evening or weekend shifts. DBS clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Level 7 ACP qualification is required.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, AHP or similar.
• Independent Prescribing desirable.
• Experience in primary care, urgent care or community health.
• Strong clinical reasoning and communication skills.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Running independent ACP-led clinics across care centre and GP service settings.
• Assessing acute, undifferentiated and routine presentations.
• Providing telephone and on-site triage during periods of high demand.
• Prescribing and initiating treatment where qualified.
• Completing routine clinical actions including results, reviews and referrals.
• Documenting accurately in digital clinical systems.
