Locum Ready in Dundee is seeking an experienced Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to run autonomous clinics within a GP practice, delivering efficient patient care.

You will draw on a nursing/paramedic/allied health background, with independent prescribing preferred, and provide urgent and routine care with clear pathways and good admin support.

Flexible sessions up to four days per week, morning and afternoon clinics, and long-term engagement options are available to fit workloads.

Qualificações

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner level 7 qualification.
• Background from nursing, paramedic, physiotherapy or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or UTC settings.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct acute and same-day access clinics.
• Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated presentations.
• Telephone triage and clinical streaming.
• Ordering and interpreting investigations.
• Prescribing safely within scope (where qualified).
• Managing follow-up actions, results and referral workflows.
• Documenting clearly using the practice clinical system.
