Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking an Advanced Clinical Practitioner to support regional community health and primary care services across Teddington. This opportunity offers flexible sessional work within community-focused clinics, ideal for ACPs experienced in autonomous clinical assessment and supporting urgent patient demand.

You will work as part of established clinical teams, providing advanced decision-making, routine assessments and urgent care support across a range of structured service

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner with Level 7 qualification.
• Clinical background in nursing, paramedic science, or AHP.
• Independent Prescribing (V300) desirable.
• Experience in GP, urgent care, or community health services.
• Ability to work independently in varied clinical environments.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ACP-led sessions in community and primary care settings.
• Manage acute, undifferentiated and minor illness presentations.
• Support urgent patient demand via telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope of competence.
• Manage results, medication reviews and follow-up tasks.
• Record accurate and clear digital documentation.
