Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to deliver autonomous assessments in primary care settings across Whitehaven. Flexible, sessional work is available to fit your schedule, with options for urgent access clinics, triage-based work, or routine appointments.

You will work with established clinical teams, perform independent ACP-led clinics, manage undifferentiated presentations, prescribe within your scope, and support workflows.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7) is required.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.
• Experience in GP, UTC, walk-in or urgent care services.
• Ability to adapt to different clinical environments.
• Enhanced DBS clearance is desirable.

Responsibilities
