Job summary

Locums First is seeking a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to deliver autonomous assessments and ACP‑led clinics in Hawkhurst. Sessions are flexible, matching your weekly availability and service needs across local primary care providers.

You will work with established teams to manage acute presentations, triage and routine care, prescribing within your scope and supporting workflows. DBS clearance is required or enhanced where applicable.

Qualifications

• ACP qualification (Level 7) required or in progress.
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.
• Experience in GP, UTC, walk‑in or urgent care services.
• Ability to adapt to different clinical environments.
• Enhanced DBS clearance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver independent ACP‑led clinics across local primary care settings.
• Assess and manage undifferentiated presentations.
• Provide telephone or face‑to‑face triage.
• Prescribe safely within scope of practice.
• Support clinical workflows and follow‑up actions.
• Document accurately in clinical systems.
