Job summary

Locum Ready is seeking Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioners in Belford to provide flexible, sessional primary care coverage across local GP settings. This role supports autonomous assessments and urgent care activity, matched to your availability and preferred service type.

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7).
• Background in Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification preferred.
• Experience in GP, UTC, walk-in or urgent care services.
• Ability to adapt to different clinical environments.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsibilities

• Delivering independent ACP-led clinics across local primary care settings.
• Assessing and managing undifferentiated presentations.
• Providing telephone or face-to-face triage.
• Prescribing safely within your scope of practice.
• Supporting clinical workflows such as results and follow-up actions.
