An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dedicated and autonomous Advanced Clinical Practitioner to join a forward-thinking healthcare community. Key Responsibilities

As an Advanced Clinical Practitioner, you will be responsible for:

  • Independently assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating treatment and interventions for patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed conditions.
  • Providing expert clinical care for patients presenting with acute illnesses, long-term conditions, and complex health needs.
  • Working autonomously to see patients in clinics, undertaking home visits where necessary, and managing a varied caseload.
  • Demonstrating advanced clinical decision-making, assessment, and treatment skills.
  • Acting as an independent prescriber, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of new models of care and clinical pathways.
  • Playing a key role in clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activities within the practice.
  • Mentoring and supporting the professional development of other members of the clinical team.

About You

The successful candidate will possess:

  • A Master's degree (MSc) in Advanced Clinical Practice or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the NMC or HCPC.
  • An independent prescribing qualification (V300).
  • Significant post-registration experience in a primary care, urgent care, or acute setting.
  • A proven ability to work autonomously and make complex clinical decisions.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • A commitment to continuous professional development and evidence-based practice.
  • Experience with the EMIS clinical system is desirable but not essential.
