Semester.co.uk is recruiting a qualified Adults Social Worker to join an Adults Services team in Middlesbrough (TS1) on a locum basis, from 1 May 2026, with a competitive hourly rate.

You will undertake Care Act assessments, manage a varied caseload and work with multi‑agency partners to safeguard and promote wellbeing.

You must hold a BA or MA in Social Work, be registered with Social Work England, and have post‑qualifying experience; local authority experience is desirable.

• Undertake Care Act assessments and care planning.
• Manage a varied caseload for adults with diverse needs.
• Collaborate with multi‑agency partners to safeguard wellbeing.
• Demonstrate person‑centred practice and record keeping.

Responsabilités

• Undertake Care Act assessments and ongoing case management.
• Attend multi‑disciplinary meetings and contribute to care planning.
• Maintain accurate, up‑to‑date case records in line with local authority standards.
• Work within relevant legislation and local authority policies.
