Job summary

London Authority is seeking an Adult Social Care Lawyer to join on a locum basis for an initial 3-month assignment with potential for extension. You will carry a varied caseload in adult social care, including Deprivation of Liberty cases and court proceedings.

The role offers hybrid working, with office attendance usually 1-2 days per week and court appearances contributing to attendance. A current practising certificate is essential.

Qualifications

• A current practising certificate (Barrister, Solicitor or CILEx).
• Office attendance is usually 1-2 days per week, with court attendance counting towards office attendance.
• Full-time hours are ideal, but part-time hours will also be considered.

Responsibilities

• Carry a caseload including Deprivation of Liberty Cases.
• Handle Judicial Reviews.
• Manage Court of Protection Proceedings.
• Deal with issues relating to s29 of the Mental Health Act.

Our Local Authority client is seeking a Adult Social Care Lawyer to join their team for an initial 3 month locum contract with a view for it to be ongoing.

The successful Adult Social Care Lawyer will be able to carry a caseload of:

• Deprivation of Liberty Cases
• Judicial Reviews
• Court of Protection Proceedings
• Issues relating to s29 of the Mental Health Act

This London Authority is seeking an Adults Lawyer who can offer the following:

• A current practising certificate (Barrister, Solicitor or CILEx)
• Office attendance is usually 1-2 day per week, as well as court attendance (which would count towards office attendance)
• Full time hours are ideally, but requests for part-time hours will also be considered

This will be a great opportunity for a determined Lawyer to develop their expertise, and take on a varied and interesting caseload.
