Job description

Role: Adult Social Care Solicitor - Interim

Rate of pay: £55- £60 per hour

Duration: 3 months +

Sellick Partnership is currently working alongside a well-known local authority, based in the West Midlands, which is seeking an Adult Social Care Solicitor to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity to progress in your career and further develop your experience in the Adult Social Care legal field. This role involves a significant caseload and would not be suitable for newly qualified solicitors.

This role is offered on an initial 3 month contract with potential to extend and can be worked fully remotely for the right candidate.

Responsibilities as an Adult Social Care Solicitor:
* Providing high-quality legal advice and services to the Council, partners and clients.
* Able to handle a high caseload in Adult social care from start to completion.
* Responsible for a full caseload of Adult Social Care matters, to include: section 21a applications, section 16, duty rota and duty queries, deputyship cases, DOLS matters in relation to ASC
* Good communication skills. Able to communicate clearly and appropriately, both verbally and in writing, at all levels.
