Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer – 3-6 months + - Predominantly Remote Working – up to £60 per hour Umbrella – East Midlands

Venn Group’s Specialist Legal Team is currently seeking legal professionals to join a Local Authority as a Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer in the East Midlands area.

Position: Locum Adult Social Care Lawyer

Organisation: East Midlands based Local Authority

Duration: 3-month initial contract with a view of extension thereafter until March 2025

Working pattern: Full time, predominantly remote working with preferred office attendance once per week and attending court when required

Hourly rate: Up to £60 per hour Umbrella (DOE)

Skill level: Qualified Lawyer (Solicitors, Barristers, and highly experienced CILEX professionals)

This position is ideally suited for candidates with prior experience working in Local Government who can effectively manage their own caseload of Adult Social Care matters, conduct their own advocacy when required, and provide comprehensive legal advice. Responsibilities may include drafting and managing court applications and orders across various courts, coordinating with and instructing Counsel for court proceedings, and facilitating professional meetings to discuss case strategies and progress.
