Job summary

Locum Ready seeks an experienced Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Kidderminster. The post is ideal for a clinician from nursing, paramedic, or allied health backgrounds who can deliver autonomous assessments, safe decisions and efficient patient management within a structured primary care setting.

Qualifications

• Advanced ACP qualification (Level 7 or postgraduate).
• Experience in primary or urgent care settings is essential.
• Independent prescribing qualification preferred (V300 or equivalent).
• Familiarity with primary care clinical systems (EMIS/SystmOne/Vision).
• Enhanced DBS clearance is required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct acute and same-day access clinics, delivering autonomous assessments.
• Make safe clinical decisions and manage undifferentiated presentations.
• Perform telephone triage and clinical streaming as part of the team.
• Order and interpret investigations and document clearly in the system.
• Prescribe within scope where qualified and manage follow-ups and referrals.
• Maintain accurate records and support efficient clinic workflows.
