Locum Ready seeks a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to work in a GP practice in Welwyn Garden City. The post suits an experienced ACP from nursing, paramedic, or allied health backgrounds who can perform autonomous clinical assessments and safe decision-making within a structured primary care setting.

You will run your own clinics as part of a multidisciplinary team, supporting urgent and routine patient demand with clear pathways and strong administrative support for smooth session

Qualifications

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate).
• Background may be Nursing, Paramedic Science, Physiotherapy or similar.
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent) preferred.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or UTC settings.
• Confident autonomous clinician with strong decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision.
• Enhanced DBS.

Responsabilités

• Conducting acute and same-day access clinics.
• Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated presentations.
• Telephone triage and clinical streaming.
• Ordering and interpreting investigations.
• Prescribing safely within scope (where qualified).
• Managing follow-up actions, results and referral workflows.
• Documenting clearly using the practice clinical system.

Locum Ready is looking for a Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner (ACP) to work for a GP practice in Welwyn Garden City. • Flexible sessions up to 4 days per week
• Morning and afternoon clinics available
• Long-term and ongoing sessions offered
