Locum Ready is seeking an experienced Locum Advanced Clinical Practitioner to work in a GP practice in Livingston. The post is suited to those with nursing, paramedic science or allied health backgrounds who can deliver autonomous clinical assessments and safe decision-making within a structured primary care setting.

You will run your own clinics as part of an established multidisciplinary team, with strong admin support and clear pathways to manage both urgent and routine presentations.

Competenze

• Advanced Clinical Practitioner qualification (Level 7/Postgraduate).
• Independent Prescribing qualification (V300 or equivalent) preferred.
• Recent experience in primary care, urgent care or UTC settings.
• Confident autonomous clinician with strong decision-making skills.
• Familiarity with EMIS, SystmOne or Vision.
• Enhanced DBS.

You will join an established multidisciplinary team and run your own clinics, supporting both urgent and routine patient demand. The practice offers clear pathways, strong administrative support and a smooth workflow to ensure effective session delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Conducting acute and same-day access clinics
• Autonomous assessment, diagnosis and management of undifferentiated presentations
• Telephone triage and clinical streaming
• Ordering and interpreting investigationsPrescribing safely within scope (where qualified)

Requirements

Working Pattern

• Flexible sessions up to 4 days per week
• Morning and afternoon clinics available
