A heritage steam railway operator in Hampshire is seeking a Locomotive Boilersmith/Fitter to join their team. The role involves the overhaul, restoration, and maintenance of steam locomotives. Candidates should possess engineering workshop experience, a driving licence, and welding knowledge. Location: The Watercress Line - Ropley Station - On site working required
Salary: Competitive
Job Type:Permanent Full Time 40 hours per week (with 30 minutes paid break) - 5 days over 7. Regular weekend, evening and holiday working will be required.
Hours:Core working hours are 0815 - 1700, however a reasonable amount of flexibility is essential
Holidays:31 days including bank holiday allowance

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic, experienced Locomotive Boilersmith/Fitter to be part of a team to carry out the overhaul, restoration and maintenance of our running fleet of steam locomotives and diesel shunters.
