Job description

Marine Resoures are seeking to appoint a Lock Operative to work at Port Solent Marina. The successful candidate will be joining a dedicated team who work hard to provide the highest levels of customer service and satisfaction. Candidates must be able to demonstrate the following in order to qualify for consideration:



Proven customer service or customer facing experience

Must have a “can do” attitude

The ability to work alone and as part of a team

Be able to stay calm under pressure

Be computer literate



A good knowledge of boats and boating would be desirable but not essential as training, where required, will be given. In all cases we will support you to grow your skills and assist you to reach your potential.



You will be working as per the duty rota to include nights, weekends, Bank/Public holidays with shifts on a 4 on 4 off basis on a 12 hour shift.
