We are a non auditioned community SATB choir, rehearsing on Monday evenings from Sept - May in Lochwinnoch. We seek a new Musical Director.

Lochwinnoch Singers are looking for a new Musical Director, ideally to start in September 2025. We are a non-audition SATB choir of around 30 members who rehearse on Monday evenings from 8-9:30pm in Lochwinnoch, Renfrewshire. We currently sing a range of music from traditional choral music to lighter music from musicals and films. We usually have a Christmas and Spring concert and expect our next few concerts to be accompanied by keyboard. We have an experienced accompanist on keyboard for rehearsals.
We are looking for an enthusiastic, friendly and supportive Musical Director with a passion for amateur music making, who has experience of working with mixed-ability groups, including non-music readers, and who can arrange music in four parts. We are keen to appoint someone who can develop engaging and imaginative concert programmes and can help us to expand the choir's membership and reach.
Fee: A fee of £75 will be offered for each one and a half hour rehearsal to include preparation time and for each concert.
