Job Description40 Hours a weekMonday to FridaySalary : Up to £38,000Job DescriptionManaging all financial aspects of a contractOperating in-unit bookkeeping systems: Processing/querying daily purchase invoices and credit notes, daily reconciliation revenues & takings, balancing cash office, calculating stock transfers between accounts, calculating waste reports, closing weekly accounting period

  • Weekly paperwork submission to central office
  • Maintaining accrual specific documents (free issue, beverages, agency, vending)
  • Monthly, quarterly and yearly client reporting suite delivery for Cost Plus contract
  • Client stock reconciliation and reporting
  • Client specific analytical reports
  • Monthly accruals and journals preparation and postings
  • P&L revision and submission
  • Monthly client Invoice issuing with back up.
  • Quarterly client reporting
  • Budgeting and balance sheet reconciliation for client and Searcys
  • Weekly Payroll management

    Management accounting experience would be preferred
  • Proven ability to work with, and analyse big data sets
  • Experience of operating in a multi-site retail business, within a food service/ catering environment is essential
  • A motivated, self-starter with an enquiring and pro-active approach to work
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills - must be comfortable interacting across all levels of the business in formal and informal environments
  • Excellent Excel skills
  • Strong commercial mind-set
