Job description

An exciting and challenging opportunity has arisen for a doctor at ST3 level or above to work as an Internal Medicine Fellow at East Sussex Healthcare NHS Trust. The post holders will be based at Eastbourne District General Hospital.

The post holders’ job plan will have a flexible portfolio of work. They will develop a rounded training in both clinical and managerial aspects of care. In addition to Acute Medical care, there will be opportunities for suitable candidates to develop specialty interests. The job plan would comprise 80% clinical work in Acute Medical care/specialty (6-month rotation) with 20% dedicated to development.

The Acute Medicine post focuses on improving the quality of front-end medical pathways to support service transformation, including early medical decision-making in the Emergency Department.
