Job description

Housing Locality Officer needed in Exeter, ref 5271812

We are looking for a candidate based in Exeter who is willing to travel to Plymouth a few times a week.

The team is based in Exeter, and the 'patch' will be in Plymouth.

You'll be responsible for delivering a professional and high-quality mixed tenure service to our customers across your locality. Your role will involve resolving a range of housing management challenges, including anti-social behaviour, housing and neighbourhood issues, contractual breaches, fraud, and safeguarding. You will play a key role in ensuring our neighbourhoods are safe and in listening to our customers' needs.

Your duties will include:

  1. Managing a complex caseload proactively and seeking creative solutions for positive outcomes.
  2. Contributing to shaping sustainable communities and creating safe, inclusive environments.
  3. Fulfilling landlord responsibilities, adhering to policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Taking a proactive approach to health & safety and compliance.
  5. Providing excellent customer service to achieve a 90% customer satisfaction rate.
  6. Collaborating with colleagues to conduct routine checks and improve our homes and areas.
  7. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and partner agencies.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
