Job description

Housing Locality Officer needed in Exeter, ref 5271812.

We are seeking a candidate based in Exeter willing to travel to Plymouth a few times a week. The team is based in Exeter, and the 'patch' covers Plymouth.

You will be responsible for delivering a professional, high-quality mixed-tenure service to our customers across your locality. Your role involves resolving various housing management challenges, including anti-social behaviour, housing and neighbourhood issues, contractual breaches and changes, fraud, and safeguarding. You will play a key role in ensuring neighbourhood safety and listening to our customers' needs.

Your duties include:

  1. Managing a complex caseload proactively and creatively to achieve positive outcomes.
  2. Contributing to the development of sustainable, safe, and inclusive communities.
  3. Fulfilling landlord responsibilities in accordance with policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  4. Taking a proactive approach to health & safety and compliance.
  5. Providing excellent customer service to help achieve a 90% customer satisfaction rate.
  6. Collaborating with colleagues to conduct routine checks and improve our homes and environments.
  7. Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders and partner agencies.

This is a full-time role on a temporary contract basis.
