Adullam Homes Housing Association Ltd supports vulnerable individuals and households by providing quality housing, tailored support plans, training, education, and employment opportunities to help people achieve stable lives and realize their full potential.

We now have an opportunity for a Locality Manager to join us to work with the Head of Support Services and the Business Development Manager to develop and grow services in the Cheshire and Merseyside regions.

The role

In this key position, you will contribute to the strategic and operational management of Adullam Services in line with corporate aims and objectives whilst managing the requirements under the regulatory bodies for supported housing.

You will manage and empower a team of approximately 10 staff, supporting and developing their potential, to ensure they deliver a quality service and achieve KPI’s.

Working alongside business development and social enterprise, you’ll maximize income by bidding for new and existing business, diversifying income streams, and fundraising to support initiatives.

Strategic management will also be an important element of this position, including reviewing policies and procedures and delivering training across the organization.

You will lead on the delivery of the Coproduction involvement and engagement strategy and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as customer standards. You will also manage complaints handling according to the regulator and housing ombudsman guidelines.

The role covers properties in Cheshire and Merseyside, with regular travel within your remit.

About you

We are looking for a Housing professional with on-the-job experience and a minimum qualification of level 4 in Housing CIH (or working towards it).

You’ll have

  • Experience leading multiple supported accommodation services in a managerial capacity
  • Knowledge of person-centred support, trauma-informed care, and psychologically informed environments
  • Experience managing service contracts, consortia, and management agreements
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure and defuse difficult situations
  • Confidence using IT systems, including CRM, apps, and Excel
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • A current full driving license and ability to travel within the area
