A leading healthcare provider in the UK is seeking a Locality Lead Immunisation Nurse to support large-scale immunisation programmes. The Localitylead Nurse works as a member of the Immunisation Team to support the safedelivery of large-scale programmes within community and educational settings inaccordance with Department of Health Green Book against Immunisation and Local ServicesSpecifications.
To workclosely with and supporting the Clinical Lead in all the work on the National schedulevaccinations for Children, and work with outbreaks in the community setting. Providing Support to clinical teams.
The role will involve close working relationshipswith IntraHealths Lead and Deputy Immunisation nurse.
Our work takes place in a variety ofsettings, including schools, clinics, and community venues to deliver theNational Childhood Immunisation Programmes and Various other Immunisation contracts.
May be required to attend Contract meetings with Commissionersand keep them informed of clinical developments within the contract.
Promote and support an effective team ethos with excellent communication skills, so that team objectives are understood and achieved.
To support, influence and improve the quality of the learning environment by providing support and supervision as well as educational and professional development for the team.
Support and deliver aspects of clinical education, staff induction and support assessment of learners and clinical staff, to ensure that the workforce has the required training, skills and competencies to deliver the immunisation programme.
