Are you passionate about languages, cultural adaptation, and delivering high-quality content to a global audience? Join WSET as a Localisation Project Manager and play a key role in shaping educational content for international markets.

We’re looking for a proactive, detail-oriented professional to support the Localisation Program Manager in managing and delivering multilingual projects. From educational and exam materials to marketing and communications, you’ll ensure content is not only accurately translated but also culturally relevant and examinable.

This is an 18-month fixed-term contract, with the potential for a 6-month extension—a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of an internationally recognised education provider while collaborating with talented teams and expert vendors across the globe.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate end-to-end localisation projects across multiple content types (educational, exam, marketing, digital).

• Edit and prepare source texts for translation and internationalisation.

• Brief, manage and quality-check work from external vendors (translators, editors, designers, etc.).

• Maintain clear communication across internal teams on project timelines, budgets, and progress.

• Review and edit English content alongside the Editorial Manager.

• Monitor and improve localisation quality metrics and workflows.

• Manage localisation assets including Translation Memories and Term Bases.

• Support vendor recruitment, onboarding, and quality management.

• Ensure accessibility compliance for educational content where required.

• Collaborate on internationalisation efforts, adapting content to ensure cultural and regional relevance.

• Hands-on experience with CAT tools (XTM is preferred) for Localisation project management.

• Fluent in a second language in any of the following languages: German, Japanese, Korean, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Dutch, Greek,Simplified Chinese or Turkish

• Educated to degree level or equivalent

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Problem-solving capabilities

• Proven abilities in project planning, resource and risk management

• Detail-orientated

• Capability to explain very complex issues to the wider cross-functional team who may not have a deep understanding of Localisation

• Ability to work independently

• Bachelor's Degree (localization, linguistics, or with equivalent experience)

• Proven record of managing a variety of file formats and content types, such as Learning Management systems, exams, html and multimedia

• Experience with Terminology Management and Localisation Memory

• Experience with AI translation
