Job Description:

Position: Local Recruiter

About Cera:

Cera’s vision is to empower people to live their best lives, in their own home, through the use of technology, professional care and support. Joining Cera, you are contributing to making this vision a reality. The work you do promotes the dignity, respect, independence and choice of our service users, enabling you to make a real difference.

We are changing the way people receive care by empowering our professional carers with insight and improved decision making. Our technology is enabling carers to do what they do best, care.

About the role:

Our local recruiters are affectionately known as Ninja recruiters. Your job is to help us recruit great people to work in Care, utilising primarily offline channels to help us find the right people. Often you will be supporting our branches who are most in need of carers and are struggling to find these via traditional job board applications.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with a small cohort (3-5 branches, that may change dependent on business need) of branches to grow their offline candidate pool, these are traditionally branches that struggle to recruit via channels such as job boards so you’ll need to think outside of the box
  • Work with our network of employability partners to drive hires of new carers at both a local and national level
  • Liaise with branches and Regional Relationship Managers to ensure key requirements are understood so that partners can identify the most suitable candidates
  • Liaise with the recruitment team to ensure candidates are interviewed and processed in a timely manner
  • Communicate with existing partners to ensure they have the correct information on candidate progress and outcomes
  • Liaise with regional recruitment managers to assess needs and do market research to identify new opportunities for partnerships - using third-party tools
  • Attend partner hiring events and occasionally visit branches where required across the country
  • Support branches to understand the importance of locally managed attraction strategies such as their local facebook page or employee referral scheme
  • Review data and performance of local campaigns on an ongoing basis
  • Reporting and providing performance feedback weekly
  • Creating engaging and thorough material to discuss performance on branch visits/calls
  • You will be responsible for screening, interviewing and offering candidates roles and ensuring a positive candidate journey
  • Support on non-recruitment Growth initiatives where required (eg Private pay promotions at a local level).

What we offer

  • We offer flexible working hours and remote working arrangements
  • Training and development for your role and future career development
  • Discretionary bonus
  • Lifeworks discount platform and Employee Assistance Programme
  • Mobile phone and other required tech equipment
  • Service awards
  • Recognition awards
  • Company pension scheme
  • 25 days holiday with bank holidays on top
  • Employee Assistance Programme
