Job summary

Progress Housing Group in Leyland is recruiting a Multi-Skilled Electrician to join our Property Services team. You'll carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, testing and small installations across our housing stock, helping keep homes safe, compliant and well maintained.

This field-based, hands-on role is based on local properties with structured hours, ongoing training and clear career progression. A full UK driving licence and the ability to work independently are essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified Electrician with strong domestic electrical experience.
• Good fault-finding skills and customer-focused approach.
• Experience in occupied/tenanted properties.

Responsibilities

• Carry out domestic electrical repairs, maintenance and small installations.
• Diagnose faults and repair right first time where possible.
• Complete electrical inspection and testing, including EICR work, where qualified.
• Ensure work is safe and compliant with BS7671.
• Work safely and respectfully in tenants' homes.
• Support void property turnaround with efficient electrical works.
• Use mobile technology to manage and update jobs in real time.
• Complete basic making-good (minor joinery/plumbing) where required.
• Participate in the on-call rota (approximately 1 in 20 weeks).
