Job summary

Driver Hire Lancaster is recruiting for an HGV Class 2 Driver in Heysham. You will be responsible for palletised deliveries and collections across the North West region, with typical start around 08:00 and finish around 17:00–18:00.

£16.70 per hour PAYE ADV, weekly pay, and 24/7 support from the Driver Hire Lancaster team. Valid Class 2 licence, CPC, tachograph card, and customer service skills are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence required.
• CPC qualification required.
• Digital Tachograph Card required.
• Previous Class 2 driving experience preferred.
• Good customer service skills desired.

Responsibilities

• Class 2 Pallet Work
• Multidrop
• Curtainsider work
• Carry out walk around & safety checks, ensuring correct method for strapping loads
• Reporting any defects immediately to the Transport team
