Hyndburn Borough Council is looking for a proactive lawyer to join its busy Legal Section, with a focus on contracts, procurement and information law. The successful candidate will provide advice across Council functions and work with officers and councillors to deliver results.

We welcome applications from newly qualified lawyers as training and supervision will be provided, with a view to developing local government experience.

Qualifications

• Proactive and enthusiastic lawyer with focus on contracts, procurement and information law.
• Open to newly qualified applicants with training and supervision provided.
• Desirable to have local government experience but not essential.
