Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Gas Engineer to cover the Preston/Leyland area on a permanent basis. The role is mainly service, breakdown and repair work with a £41,000 salary and local on-site duties. You must bring your own servicing tools; a Flue Gas Analyser is provided. A company van is included and there are bonus schemes.

Typical day runs 8am–5pm with minimal travel, and benefits include holidays and a pension. Immediate start available for the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Gas Engineer with service and breakdown experience for installation and repair of gas appliances.
• Proficient in identifying faults, diagnosing issues and carrying out repairs.
• Able to work on-site with limited supervision and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Carry out gas appliance servicing and repairs on-site.
• Respond to service calls in Preston/Leyland area with a focus on customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to safety regulations and company procedures at all times.
• Maintain tools and report work performed and identified issues.
