Job summary

Driver Hire Dumfries is recruiting an experienced Class 2 (HGV Cat C) Tipper Driver to work locally in Dalbeattie. Monday to Friday, 07:00–16:30, paying £15.69 per hour including holiday pay.

This temporary role involves operating a Class 2 tipper and completing vehicle checks and paperwork. The ideal candidate will hold a valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence with CPC and Digital Tachograph, plus knowledge of UK roads and a safety-focused approach.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 2 (Cat C) licence is required.
• Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph.
• Previous tipper/driving experience preferred.
• Good knowledge of UK roads.
• Reliable, professional and safety-conscious.
• Excellent timekeeping and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate a Class 2 tipper vehicle.
• Carry out vehicle checks and complete relevant paperwork.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with company procedures.
